The ‘Sherlock Holmes’ in the pages of the novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is the best one of them all for me. The sheer joy of BBC Sherlock is the loyalty to the originals. While watching the episodes for the first time, I kept sitting up every now and then with ‘That is exactly as in the books’ ‘Holmes vs Sherlock’ is a comparison (or rather the similarities) between the books and the TV series! (And also I needed a reason to re-read the books and re-watch the series :D)
